WaiBOP United is pleased to announce Loaded Isotonic Sports Drink will be WaiBOP United’s Naming Rights Partner for the 2015/16 ASB Premiership season.
The team will be known as Loaded WaiBOP United after we recently reached agreement with Davies Foods. Loaded, their premium brand of Isotonic Sports Drink, will fuel WaiBOP United and WaiBOP Football Federation, and will be displayed on the front of the team’s playing shirts this season.
Loaded has been specifically engineered by leading technologists to contain 50% more electrolytes (per 100ml) than New Zealand’s best-selling Isotonic Sports Drink. Electrolytes enhance and regulate the hydration of the body. They are critical for nerve and muscle function which enables optimal performance.
Paul Nolan, CEO of Davies Foods, is delighted with the partnership. “This is an excellent fit for us,” said Nolan. “WaiBOP United is an exciting young team with great potential and it’s great we can align our key sports product with the team. Football has widespread appeal in this country and, with the ASB Premiership being shown live on Sky this summer, it’s an excellent chance for us to showcase the Loaded brand.
Mark Christie, CEO of WaiBOP United and WaiBOP Football Federation, welcomed Davies Foods to the football family. “We are naturally very happy to have Loaded fuelling WaiBOP United this summer,” said Christie. “It’s excellent for us to have such a high quality sports product associated with both Loaded WaiBOP United and football in our region. I’m pleased Paul and his team has shown this much faith in what we’re trying to achieve, both at the elite level and for football in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.”
Loaded WaiBOP United hosts Team Wellington in the opening game of their 2015/16 ASB Premiership campaign. The match, to be played at Hamilton’s Gower Park, is on Sunday November 15 and kicks off at 4.35pm. It will be broadcast live on Sky Sport, along with five further home games. In total, ten of Loaded WaiBOP United’s fourteen regular season matches (six home and four away) will be broadcast live on Sky Sport.
