The Bay SportsMed WaiBOP United youth team heads south on Sunday to play Team Wellington. In what is turning out to be a competitive and challenging league, the lads will be in for another tough game.
We’ve played the top two sides in the last two rounds and come up just short. The performances have been good, particularly last time out against Nelson/Marlborough, but we need to turn them into results if we’re to challenge for the title.
Team Wellington sit level with us on six points and enter this match after a 2-1 victory over champions Auckland City.
The match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday at Petone Memorial Park in the capital.
