For the record, the whites beat the reds 3-2.
Aaron Scott opened the scoring from out wide for the whites midway through the first half, before Matt Williams levelled things up right on half time. Milos Nikolic nodded home a Mark Jones cross after the break to put the whites ahead, before Maksim Manko poked home a Jack McNab cross for a second reds equaliser. Alexis Varela slid home the winner with about ten minutes remaining.
The team returns to Cambridge next Saturday for a match against the Waikato Bay of Plenty Federation League All Stars, before heading to Oceania Football’s facilities in Auckland for a two day training camp the following weekend.
