We’re only a few kilometres from our final stop in Hamilton but there’s no way we could speed through a town like Cambridge. Quiet and gentile yet also loaded with modern facilities and one of the largest football clubs in the region, Cambridge is the ideal penultimate stop on our journey.
The Horse and Foal statue next to the Cambridge Town Hall is an iconic image of this town, situated as it is in the best Thoroughbred horse breeding region of the country. Across the road Victoria Square, with it’s cricket wicket and pavilion, is symbolic of the English heritage of this town.
Cambridge is home to Cambridge AFC.
