On Thursday November 14 Matamata Swifts AFC will be visited by a group of players from WaiBOP United.
Goalkeeper Andy McNeil and defender Liam Higgins will be among those present. Andy played professionally in Scotland for teams such as Hibernian and Livingston. He was also a youth team player with Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott at Southampton. Liam represented New Zealand at the last two FIFA Under-20 World Cups.
The players will be at the Matamata Domain between 3.45pm and 4.45pm.
You are invited to come along and meet them, get their autographs and have your photo taken. Depending on numbers we may also put on a light training session or game, so bring your boots.
