The Bay SportsMed WaiBOP United Youth Team have been defeated 1-0 by the league leaders in a tight, tense encounter at St Peter’s School in Cambridge.
The game’s solitary goal came in first half stoppage time when the visitors whipped home a free kick from just outside the box.
While the Falcons were a tidy, well organised side, the WaiBOP lads matched them in most areas of the pitch, apart from the one that ultimately counts the most. We created the chances we needed to win the match but nothing would go in.
